Today I found an interesting presentation by Kabena Boahen, who talks about how the (human) brain works and why it will be necessary for us to build computers that utilize the same “technologies” that are used inside:

I’m always faszinated by those numbers, let alone the effort that those people invest into the creation of new technological experiments, that may or may as well not lead to another breakthrough in computer science. Kodos to them!

Multi touch whiteboard using Wii Remote

Johnny Chung Lee made his own cheapo multi touch whiteboard using his Wii remote and a pen with an infrared LED.

It’s not perfect but look at how he is using two of those pens to simulate the multitouch experience that you would only know from much more expensive solutions.
